Mr. Jerry Brown comes to MMS with over 25  years of teaching experience. This year he teaches 8th grade Social Studies.  He has experience working with the Bigger, Faster, Stronger Program and has coached basketball and track.  His hobbies include ice fishing, running, and mountain biking.  When asked what he likes about Manistee Middle School, his response is "fun, positive people!"
