Kris Johnson has been teaching at Manistee Middle School for 10 years. She is originally from the great metropolis of Harrison, Michigan. Kris has a bachelor degree from Northern Michigan University in outdoor recreation. After working in that field for several years, she returned to school at Central Michigan University and received her teaching certificate in Special Education/Physical Education.  Kris is currently teaching our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Math Resource Room's, also have a 7th grade advisory study skills class and a Service Learning class with Mrs. Mary Hunter. Kris has been active with the fundraising for and  planning of Adventure Learning for the MMS.
