Linda Coyle is in her 12th year of teaching at Manistee Middle School. She is originally from Detroit, but moved to Manistee in 1971 and graduated from MHS in 1975. After graduating from high school, Linda got married and had three children;  Jason, Brooke, and Lindsay. In 1988 Linda headed for Central Michigan University to obtain a degree in special education. During that time, she had her fourth child, Candice.  As of 2007, Mrs. Coyle has four granchildren.  After graduating from Central in 1996, Linda began teaching at Manistee Middle School as a special education teacher.  Linda has coached middle school basketball and is currently the varsity girls tennis coach. Linda is currently working towards a Master's degree in counseling.
