Mrs. LaPrad is a tenth-year teacher with Manistee Public Schools. She began teaching first grade, but has been teaching 7th grade for the past six years.  Michelle is a graduate of Central Michigan University, majoring in science.  She completed her masters degree from Marygrove College.  In addition to teaching 7th grade science, Mrs. LaPrad teaches seventh and eighth grade Science Olympiad elective.  Mrs. LaPrad is the head coach for the 2008 Class "C" State Championship Science Olympiad Team here at MMS.  She has coached Science Olympiad for the past six years.  Mrs. LaPrad enjoys spending time at the beach, camping, biking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.  She is married and has four children, two in college and two in high school.  She and her family also have  two golden retrievers, Karma Soo and Maizey Blue.
