Report cards for Manistee Middle School students will be mailed home sometime during the week of May 26th.  Report cards will not be mailed to students still owing any library fines, cafeteria fines, books, etc.  If you have any questions, please contact the middle school at 723-3271.

The staff and I are looking forward to an exciting year.  Manistee Middle School offers a challenging academic program along with many athletic opportunities and after school programs. We are proud of the program our school offers and encourage you to work hard, do your best, and find success both academically and in your personal accomplishments.

 
    

 SUMMER SCHOOL Minimize

Manistee Middle School will be offering summer classes for students beginning June 11th.  Programs being offered are:

8th Grade Summer Step

6th & 7th Grade Summer Campus

Classes will be held at Manistee High School from June 11th until July 17th.  The cost is $50.00 tuition and a $75.00 refundable deposit. 

Students are responsible for their own transportation.  Dial-A-Ride is running a Wellston/MHS bus starting June 11th.   Pickup time will be approximately 7:20 a.m. arriving at MHS at 8:00 a.m.  The outbound bus from MHS will leave at 12:30 p.m.  If needed you may also have a stop at MHS for the 3:00pm Wellston bus.  EACH ONE WAY RIDE IS $2.00. Parents needing transportation must call Dial-A-Ride to schedule their student rider.

Breakfast and lunch are provided on site FREE OF CHARGE to all students in the county.  MMS Summer Term is a CLOSED CAMPUS.

 "USDA SPONSORED SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM" Minimize

The Summer Feeding Program is a USDA Sponsored program that is available to any child under the age of 18, regardless of income. Any student/child 18 years or younger can eat breakfast and lunch for free.  The lunches have to be eaten on site.  Adults can purchase a lunch for $2.75. A free breakfast and lunch is available at the following sites:

                        Jefferson Elementary
                        June 16 - June 26
                       Monday - Thursday
                       Breakfast 8:00 - 8:30 a.m.
                       Lunch 11:45 - 12:30 p.m.
 
                        Manistee High School
                        June 11 - July 25
                        Monday - Friday
                        Breakfast 7:45 - 8:35 a.m.
                        Lunch 11:50 - 12:35 p.m.
